Belltable:Connect is supporting Polish Arts Festival through a year-long structured mentorship programme delivered to the festival’s Artistic Director and performing artist Justyna Cwojdzinska. The mentoring support will facilitate the planning and growth of the festival as well as creation of future festival projects.

Justyna has received an Outstanding Polish Person of the Year award from the Government of Poland for her work with PAF. She is a passionate advocate of social inclusion and puts an emphasis on supporting of indigenous arts. Her theatre performance ‘Nameless,’ a piece exploring the possibility of crossing the boundaries of understanding and comprehending the essence of participating in the ritual of life, premiered in Belltable in 2018 and subsequently toured in Ireland and Poland. The Polish Arts Festival, now in its 13th year, is a community-oriented organization that promotes and integrates Polish artists and Polish culture through meaningful collaboration with Limerick-based artists and local venues.

Mentoring Support for PAF is part of the Festival’s application to the Arts Council under the Capacity Building funding stream.
